Applications are invited for the following:

Vocal:
One-Year Diploma in Music Teachers’ Training course in Indian Music Recognised by the government of Tamil Nadu. ’Isaikalimani, Vadyakalaimani’ or B.A degree passed candidates are only eligible for the above course.

Three-year ‘Isaikalaimani’ course including Lower and Higher grade Government Examination. Those who have sound knowledge of music may be admitted to the II year of this course. Minimum qualification: X Std pass.

A two-year advanced course (Sangita Ratna) for training in concert and Pallavi singing. Qualification: B.A. or M.A. or performing artistes of five years or ‘B’ grade A.I.R. artiste or Govt.Diploma holders in music.

Instrumental Classes:
Part time (weekly 2 classes) six-year course in Mridangam (Laya Visharat) and Diploma in Veena

Thanjavur Vaidyanatha Iyer school for Percussion:

Age limit for Diploma in Music Training and Advanced courses:

15-45 years. Application forms can be obtained from the office on payment of Rs.20/- by cash/M.O onlyApplications can be had from the Music Academy from – 27th May 2009.
